MUSC Screening and Mask Resources

Local Online Health Screening

Concerned about your health or displaying potential symptoms of Covid 19? Use the Telehealth services provided by MUSC to get screened online. Telehealth services may also be provided by your regular health provider at this time. Heroes Need Masks

Non-profit, Heroes Need Masks, sprung from the need to supply medical professionals with quality PPE at the beginning of COVID-19. They were able to collect and donate thousands of pieces of PPE to local Charleston medical providers. Recently they have been able to create and collect masks for children in need of adequate protection. If you are in need of masks or would like to support the work of Heroes Need Masks click here.

Coronavirus Resource Hub

A Message from Traveling Ink's Founder:

Greetings to old and new friends alike. I started Traveling Ink seven years ago to provide a resource for locals and travelers to be able to better enjoy Charleston, encourage travel, team building, and time spent with one another. Traveling Ink has had so many visitors over the years who have used the site to help make memories, and I've been thankful to serve them all.

We are in an unprecendented time where we are all in need of new resources, a time when we serve one another better not by coming together physically, but by keeping our distance. However, keeping our physical distance does not mean distancing ourselves from our communities. Please be intentional about staying connected with your tribe and reaching out tho those who may not have one.

We may all find ourselves with new roles, responsibilities, and a bit out of our comfort zones right now, Therefore, I have cultivated a section of Traveling Ink to provide resources in a variety of categories to be able to serve our site visitors. As I come across new resources, I will continue to add them to this hub and encourage site visitors to suggest ones that they've found helpful. Visitors can do that by filling out our contact form and including their suggestions here.

T
his resource hub will remain live as long as the Traveling Ink site stays up or until the threat of this crisis has passed. I have added an option to donate to keep the site running. For our visitors who may be hurting or in financially uncertain times, please enjoy the site with no compulsion to give. For thoe who may be on more solid footing right now, I'd greatly appreciate your consideration in donating a few dollars to help.

Please be kind. Be patient. Be thoughtful with one another. Let this be a time in history where love and generosity reign instead of fear.

Very Humbly,
Audra Gibson

Client Testimonials

  • A Charleston resident suggested a Traveling Ink concierge might be able to help me. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was one of the best pieces of advice I could have received. My friends thought I was an organizational wizard even though I kept telling them it was Traveling Ink, not me.

  • We so enjoyed our time in Charleston. Thank you for all your insight! I am recommending your services to everyone I know who is traveling to Charleston!

    ~Kathryn C.
  • Traveling Ink planned the three full days we would have in Charleston, how we would get from one place to another, places to eat, and what the costs would be. To add to the challenge, we had to change the day of one of the main attractions because rain had been predicted. They handled all the changes with out missing a step.

    ~ Harriett H.
  • These Charleston pros do a phenomenal job in any setting. Audra was our point person and is a pleasure to work with. She is laid back and can work with any request.
