Palmetto Brewing Company

The oldest brewery in South Carolina, Palmetto Brewing Company, opened it's doors in 1993 when the founders decided the Carolinas deserved a higher quality craft beer than could be found in the area at the time. Inspired by a trip to California, Palmetto was determined to bring quality brewing east and has been gaining momentum ever since. Located on the upper side of the downtown Charleston Peninsula, the brewery has opened its doors to locals and visitors alike for their popular Loading Dock Music Series and, most recently, a premier tour and tasting experience.
