This is team building with a healthy dose of competition involved. This is a fantastic option for corporate groups, teams, or school groups looking for a fun conference event or a night-time activity. Our team facilitators come to you and can set everything up onsite. Choose from either option below.

Sixty Seconds or Less - Minute to Win Style Challenges

Groups will be split into teams of 3-6 people and will compete in a series of minute to win style games with a series of light physical challenges. Teams will be tasked with conquering the playing card challenge, bottle-flip, marble drop, bucket-toss, pencil flip, bucket toss, and cookie face challenge. Teams acquire points in head to head challenges and the team with the most points wins the day. You'll be quick to find out who in your group has unique talents in this one!

Team Building Tournament - Minute to Win + Team Building Challenge Games

Groups will compete in a combination of minute to win style games above paired with team building exercises, challenges and games such as alligator alley, pipeline, platform challenges and reverse charades. How teams adjust and perform during these challenges allow them to rack up points, and, eventually, a team building tournament champ is crowned. If you are looking not only to entertain and build community, but also encourage your group to come together and hone leadership, communication, and support skills, this is the event for your team.

Currently the Comedy and Mystery and Comedy Theatre team building option is not available with hopes to restart Spring of 2021. Please be patient as we work to serve you and your team safely during these unprecendented times. 

Ready for a fun night in downtown Charleston with your group? This interactive comedy and mystery theatre performance won't disappoint. Start things off working as a team to identify a who’s who of detectives through the decades. Then enjoy an original comedy and mystery show put on by local Charleston talent in the heart of downtown Charleston. The theatre runs 4-5 different shows each season for groups to chose from.

The cast encourages guests to volunteer for small reading parts during the production. Though guests are not required to volunteer, this ends up being a rather entertaining part of the show. You never know what hidden acting talent you may find in one of your team members or friends. This event is perfect for business and corporate outings, a bachelor or bachelorette weekend, or an evening activity for a high school group field trip.

Charleston Comedy and Mystery Theatre Performance Details

Great for groups of 5-60 people (Groups over 10 people should call 843-633-1338 to check availability and make reservations). This is a popular activity and early reservations are highly recommended. Total time: 3 hours.

Price includes: Show ticket, one non-alcoholic beverage, and one dessert OR appetizer per guest. Groups may order additional food items and drinks off the menu and pay their server directly. Ticket price does not include server gratuity.

If the beach is where you want to be, the Sand and Surf Adventure is for you. Pair a surf lesson with some great beach activities for your group. Choose the best fit for your team from the two options below.

Option One - Great for Business Team Building and Corporate Retreats

A Traveling Ink team leader will take your group through an hour of challenging, fun team building exercises on the beach. When team building is complete, build community and challenge your group with a full surfing experience including beach orientation and wave riding instruction from qualified surf instructors. Your lesson will be followed with an hour of water time with your surf instructors by your side. Add a photographer for the team or company photo reel or social media pages.

Charleston Sand and Surf Team Building

Great for groups of 6-24 people. Physical exertion level: moderate to high. *All surfing lesson participants must be able to swim. Total time: 2.5 hours 

Base Package: Includes 1 hour of team building games and challenges on the beach, 15 minutes of beach orientation and instruction, 1 hour of riding waves with surf instructors in the water, a soft-top surfboard and leash rental, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

Option Two - Perfect for Bachelor and Bachelorette Groups or Family Reunions

Your group will start with a surf lesson on Folly Beach. A qualified instructor will provide your group with beach instruction and surfing safety tips. You will then get an hour of surfing time with your instructors in the water. Beautiful beaches and manageable waves make Charleston an excellent place to learn to surf, and these experienced instructors give your group the knowledge and practical tips needed to ride waves the first time out. Follow up your surf lesson playing a fun selection of beach games provided for the group such as bocce ball, corn hole, red-neck golf, spike ball, or bucket ball. Add a photographer for your facebook and instagram pics.

Charleston Sand and Surf Beach Adventure

Great for groups of 6-16 people. Physical exertion level: moderate to high. *All surfing lesson participants must be able to swim. Total time: 2.5 hours

Base Package: Includes 15 minutes of beach orientation and instruction, 1 hour of riding waves with surf instructors in the water, a soft-top surfboard and leash rental, just over an hour of beach style game rentals, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
